Crystal Lake, IL – November 15, 2011 - Crystal Lake Bank & Trust has chosen the second winner of the “Where in the County is Henry?” contest. Tracy Tobin, who does her banking at McHenry Bank & Trust, was able to correctly guess where Henry was located and was the winner of a raffle. She won an iPad for her correct answer. Read more.

On Monday, November 7th, Crystal Lake Bank & Trust will officially welcome Bill Mullins as their new Vice President and Senior Retail Banking Officer. Mullins joins the bank with an impressive 10-year background at Citibank, where he managed the largest branch in the City of Chicago (Dearborn and Washington). Prior to working in Chicago, Bill worked in varying capacities for Citibank in their New York corporate offices. Read more.

Fraud Alert
The bank has received reports that both customers and non-customers alike in the immediate areas have been receiving phone text messages regarding their debit card at the bank. The text message instructs the person to call a certain number and upon calling, are then prompted to enter their card and PIN information. It also warns their ATM card has been deactivated. The message instructs them to call either of these numbers; 815-246-3178 and 630-254-4857. Please be advised - this message is fraudulent and that the bank will NEVER ask you to provide personal information over the phone. If you receive such a message, please notify the bank immediately. Special Alert from the FDIC
E-mails fraudulently claiming to be from the FDIC are attempting to get recipients to click on a link, which may ask them to provide sensitive personal information. These e-mails falsely indicate that FDIC deposit insurance is suspended until the requested customer information is provided. Read more.
Notice Of Changes In Temporary FDIC Insurance Coverage For Transaction Accounts
Beginning December 31, 2010 Through December 31, 2012, deposits held in non interest-bearing transaction accounts will be fully insured, regardless of the amount in the account, at all FDIC-insured institutions. Read more.
